Zionist Regime Security Officials Warn Netanyahu Not to Release Palestinian Prisoners

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, Israel’s Channel 13 reported that Ronen Bar, the head of the Shin Bet and the head of the military’s negotiations, warned Netanyahu that failure to release Israeli prisoners could have dangerous consequences [for Tel Aviv].

On the other hand, the Hebrew newspaper, Walla, quoted several Israeli officials as saying that Netanyahu is willing to reach an agreement with Hamas to release more Israeli prisoners without ending the Gaza war.

The Israeli official added that Hamas may agree to extend the talks, but it will have many demands and give few concessions.

He also stated that Tel Aviv is currently ready to pay Hamas a price, while the Israeli government refuses to officially declare an end to the war.

Another senior Israeli official told Walla that the Netanyahu government has found itself in a crisis and is now trying to find a way out of it.

The Israeli official stressed that some members of the government are preoccupied with issues related to Hamas ceremonies, instead of focusing on returning the bodies of the hostages.

On the other hand, Israel's Channel 12 television also reported that the regime is preparing to begin discussions on the second phase, including political arrangements in the Gaza Strip.
