A Surge of Support for Gaza in Morocco
The popular anger against the Israeli occupation erupted in the Moroccan capital, with thousands of people from all walks of life marching through the streets to make the cry of Gaza's oppression heard by the world.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Rabat, the capital of Morocco, witnessed massive demonstrations today, Sunday, condemning Israeli aggression and demanding an end to normalization with the Zionist regime.
Thousands of Moroccans gathered near the walls of "Bab Al-Ahad" square, waving Palestinian flags and wearing keffiyehs, to participate in the protest.
Protesters chanted slogans calling for an end to what they described as "American-backed genocidal war" and condemned the Zionist regime's atrocities.
The demonstration was attended by political and human rights figures from various groups.
Trade unions and student organizations, and student unions also participated in the protest.
This event coincides with ongoing popular protests across 56 Moroccan cities under the slogan "Gaza is under fire, O Muslim Ummah."
