TEHRAN (Defapress) - Khalid Al-Qaddumi, Hamas' representative in Iran, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, stated: "As of today, about a month and a half has passed since the child-killing Zionist regime violated the ceasefire agreement. We can say that we have offered 100 martyrs per day. In these days, we have lost 320 medical personnel."
Al-Qaddumi added: "In the past month and a half, we have also lost more than 40 civilians who were searching for the 8,000 missing people in Gaza buried under the rubble of buildings. All these crimes have been committed in front of cameras in the 21st century."
Hamas' representative in Iran continued: "Today, the entire world is witnessing the genocide of the people of Gaza by the Zionist regime, and everyone knows that this blatant genocide of Palestinians and Gazans is being carried out with the full support of the United States."
He noted: "Regarding the ceasefire agreement with the Zionist regime, we see daily proposals being sent by the U.S. through our mediating friends, such as Egypt and Qatar. However, what is clear is that the Zionist side is not at all serious about a ceasefire agreement."
Al-Qaddumi added: "Every proposal presented by the U.S. in recent months up until today for a ceasefire has been met with our positive response. But the Zionist regime creates obstacles, rendering these proposals ineffective. Because if the Zionist regime truly seeks a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, the framework of the January 17 agreement of this year would be sufficient."
Hamas' representative in Iran stated: "Israeli prisoners will not return to their families without a ceasefire agreement. Because this cannot be achieved through force or military solutions—and if attempted, these prisoners will lose their lives at the hands of the same criminal Zionists."
He explained: "Currently, while all eyes and attention are on Gaza, the Zionist enemy has stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque (the first qibla of Muslims) and is engaged in destroying and harming Jerusalem."
Al-Qaddumi further said: "The Zionist regime has also launched attacks on the West Bank, martyring Palestinians there. Of course, these actions are happening with the full support of the U.S. and in front of cameras."
Hamas' representative in Iran added: "We agree to a ceasefire with the Zionist regime to end the war in Gaza. If someone seeks peace, we are also for peace. Conversely, if someone seeks war with us, we are also prepared for war."
He emphasized: "The Palestinian Resistance has remained steadfast on its path until today. If you have followed recent news, in the past few days alone, we have fired more than 30 rockets into the occupied Palestinian territories."
Al-Qaddumi added: "Our message to the world is that we desire peace. At the same time, we are steadfast and patient, and we can firmly resist and wage jihad against our enemies. The people of Gaza and the world stand with us, and we call on the leaders of the region to exert real diplomatic, political, and even military pressure on the Zionist regime—because Netanyahu and Trump only understand the language of force."
In conclusion, Hamas' representative in Iran stressed: "Our honorable scholars must declare jihad against the Zionist enemy and must guide the youth to resist and fight against the occupying regime of Jerusalem. Because if our enemies do not feel real and serious pressure today, they will not stop their crimes."
