Disarming Hezbollah Will Never Be Achieved

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi, the Deputy Coordinator of the IRGC Quds Force, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, described the plan to disarm Hezbollah of Lebanon as an "American-Zionist plan" and stated: Certainly, neither the people of Lebanon nor the Resistance force of Hezbollah will accept this plan, and this will never be achieved.

Brigadier General Masjedi, stating that the weapons of the Resistance are the weapons of the people of Lebanon to defend this land against the aggressions of the Zionist regime, added: The issue of disarmament is not a new topic, but it is by no means practical.

The Deputy Coordinator of the IRGC Quds Force also warned, referring to the readiness situation of the armed forces after the 12-day war: If the enemies intend to attack, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic will respond with full readiness and with full power.

Brigadier General Masjedi noted: The capabilities of our forces have increased, and they are ready to respond to any threat.
