UN Secretary-General Condemns Israeli Military Raid on UNRWA Headquarters

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on the Israeli regime to immediately take all necessary measures to protect the sanctity of the UNRWA buildings.

 The Spokesperson for the Secretary-General, Stephane Dujarric, also announced that Guterres condemned the unauthorized raid by Israeli forces on the UNRWA headquarters in Occupied Quds and stressed that the agency's headquarters is inviolable and immune to any interference.

In another statement, Guterres addressed the killing of people in Sudan and announced that he was "horrified" by reports of the killing of dozens of children and other civilians in attacks in South Kordofan, Sudan.

He called on all influential countries to take action to implement an immediate ceasefire and prevent weapons from entering Sudan and escalating the conflict in the country.
