An oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, which had turned off its radar system, exploded after hitting a mine.

TEHRAN (Defapress) - An informed source said in an interview with Defapress correspondent: An hour ago, a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, which had deviated from the route specified by the Republic of Iran, exploded after hitting a naval mine.

Previously, the Islamic Republic of Iran had repeatedly warned that if ships deviate from the route declared by Iran, they would bear the consequences.
