"Iran's cyber police has established strong relations with Interpol and Europol in 2011 to prevent and confront cyber crimes, conducting research, prosecution of criminals, and protecting social values and legal freedom at an international level," Qaribabadi said addressing the 5th meeting for comprehensive study of the problem of cybercrime in Vienna.
Referring to the measures taken by Iran to fight cybercrime, Qaribabadi said that media can play a big role in collecting electronic evidences for prosecution of cyber defendants and criminals.
"Iran has enacted laws in 2004 on recognition of electronic evidences as a step toward protecting individual's information," he added.
