US presence in Iraq is illegal

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The head of the Al-Nujaba political council, Ali al-Asadi, said that With the legal approval of the parliament and the millions of Iraqi people protesting the need to expel American military forces, their presence in Iraq is illegal.

"Even the continued presence of the Americans based on the strategic agreement is considered against the law because they have occupied the sky of Iraq and violated its sovereignty", Ali al-Asadi added. 

The head of the Al-Nujaba political council continued: In addition to their illegal presence, Americans assassinate and kill military forces affiliated with the Iraqi government. All these have created the conditions for the resistance groups to confront them to liberate the country from the aggressors and preserve the dignity of the Iraqi nation.
