Gaza Health Official Announces that Israel Has Martyred 17,000 Children

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Al-Masirah quoted Dr. Khalil al-Daqran, spokesman for the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Gaza, as saying: The Israeli enemy has killed more than 17,000 children through air and ground bombardments, and is now killing the remaining children through hunger and disease.

He said: Cutting off electricity to hospitals in the Gaza Strip means killing patients inside these medical centers.

The Palestinian health official also warned that the Zionist regime is preventing the entry of enough fuel to activate hospital equipment, an issue that has put the lives of thousands of patients at risk.

According to Dr. al-Daqran, the Israeli army has destroyed more than 85 percent of the homes of Gaza residents, and the humanitarian situation in the area is critical.

He concluded by warning that 650,000 children in Gaza are at serious risk of malnutrition due to the Israeli regime's blockade.
