TEHRAN (Defapress) - A recent survey conducted by Israel's Channel 12 revealed that 54% of the Zionist settlers are in favor of reaching an agreement to resolve the conflict in Lebanon, while 24% are opposed to such an initiative.
The poll, which was made public on Saturday, also indicated significant dissatisfaction with the government's performance, as 64% of respondents expressed a lack of trust in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's management of the crisis. Only 30% expressed confidence in his leadership abilities.
In terms of accountability, a substantial 79% of participants advocated for the establishment of a commission of inquiry into the events of October 7, 2023, while 8% were against the proposal.
When asked about potential alternatives to Netanyahu as prime minister, he maintained a slight advantage over opposition leaders. He received 38% support compared to 28% for Yair Lapid and 37% against 29% for Benny Gantz. Notably, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett surpassed Netanyahu, achieving 38% support to Netanyahu's 34%.
