TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspondent, Mohammad Ali Al-Hakim, an expert on West Asian affairs, stated that the consequences of the Syrian crisis, both regionally and globally, may be very dangerous, and stated: The uprising that took place in Syria with the presence of non-Syrian forces and with the support of several regional and extra-regional countries, was not a national revolution in the true sense of the word, but rather a movement that had different goals and objectives.
Stating that the Zionist regime has dreamed a dangerous dream for Syria and would like to turn it into several smaller states so that its borders are more secure, he said that the Zionist regime does not like the control of extremist armed groups over its borders to maintain its national security.
Hakim continued: A secret conflict between several Arab countries is also underway in Syria; therefore, future scenarios in Syria that each side has in mind can lead to a painful and unimaginable fate.
He continued by pointing to the most obvious scenarios raised in Syria and said: The first scenario is the outbreak of civil war and a repetition of the Libyan experience. The second scenario is the division and fragmentation of Syria into several small states, which is pursued by the Zionist regime.
Al-Hakim considered the repetition of the Al-Sisi experience in Syria and moving towards normalizing relations with the Zionist regime after the complete destruction of all heavy weapons such as fighter jets, tanks, and missiles as the third possible scenario in this country, and emphasized that none of these scenarios are suitable for the Syrian people, because they depict a bitter and difficult future for this country.
