TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Anadolu, Donald Trump, the U.S. President who signed an order to withdraw the country from the World Health Organization (WHO) upon entering the White House, has stated that Washington might consider rejoining the organization.
Trump said, "I withdrew from the World Health Organization, where we were paying 500 million annually, while China, despite its much larger population paid 39 million dollars.
While signing the executive orders, the U.S. President stated, "The World Health Organization took advantage of us. Everyone takes advantage of the U.S., but that’s not going to happen anymore. It seemed a bit unfair to me, though that wasn’t the main reason. But I withdrew from it... China pays 39 million, and we pay 500 million, even though China is a much bigger country!"
