TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Joint Maritime Security Belt Exercise 2025 will be held in the Third Nabuwat Nadaja Area with the participation of the Russian and Chinese naval fleets and observers from Azerbaijan, South Africa, Oman, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Qatar, Iraq, the UAE and Sri Lanka, along with the vessels of the Army and IRGC Navy and IRGC, in the Third Nabuwat Nadaja Area and the northern Indian Ocean.
This exercise aims to enhance security and sustainable maritime interactions in the northern Indian Ocean and relations between the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation.
Also, demonstrating the authority of the Navy in international arenas, enhancing the professional capabilities of this strategic force in the field of joint exercises and maneuvers, and developing the country's maritime diplomacy are other goals of this exercise.
