Yemen Warns of Massive Oil Seep in the Red Sea Due to US Attacks

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Russia Today, Yemeni officials warned of a massive oil seep in the Red Sea due to recent US attacks on the Ras Isa oil port in Hodeidah province.

Yemeni Foreign Minister Jamal Amer wrote to the United Nations and Secretary-General Guterres, saying: American aggressors have destroyed the civilian infrastructure of the Ras Isa port.

He added: What is more dangerous is that the American aggressors have caused a marine environmental disaster, as large amounts of oil derivatives have penetrated the waters of the Red Sea and neighboring areas.

He held the United States fully internationally responsible for this crime in the Ras Isa port and its catastrophic consequences.

So far, Washington has not responded to this issue.
