US Must Recognize Nuclear North Korea
The influential sister of the North Korean ruler has admitted that negotiations with the US will only be possible if it recognizes North Korea's nuclear status.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Kim Yo Jong, the influential sister of North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un, dismissed U.S. efforts to restart denuclearization talks, urging Washington to recognize North Korea as a nuclear-armed state.
She said future talks would only be possible if the U.S. offers rewards for partial disarmament and warned that ignoring North Korea’s nuclear status would make negotiations futile.
