TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Israeli official told Kathimerini: "We have some reservations (about the possible sale of the F-35 to Turkey)."

According to Haskel-Harpaz, "A lot of the technology inside this aircraft is Israeli-made technology, and it is obvious that this is not something we will share with them (Turkey)."
These statements were made during the recent meeting between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu in the United States. He announced a "very serious review" of the sale of the F-35 to Turkey.
The US president added: "I promise you they (Turkey) will never use the F-35 against Israel."
The Israeli deputy foreign minister expressed concern over the US president’s comments about selling the F-35 to Turkey, adding that Israeli technology (found in the F-35) “even if they receive these aircraft” would not be part of such a deal.
In an interview with the Greek newspaper, Haskel-Harpaz spoke of the good relations between Tel Aviv and Athens, relations that have alarmed Ankara.
According to him, relations between Greece and Israel have never been so close, and there is close cooperation in the fields of energy and security, and Greece purchases Israeli weapons.
Haskel-Harpaz added: “I think that cooperation between Greece and Israel in the field of defense mechanisms is very important and can contribute a lot to security and safety in the future.”
