UK Condemned Israeli Cabinet Decision on West Bank

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, the UK government issued a statement strongly condemning the decision of the Israeli security cabinet to expand the regime's control over the West Bank.

The London government announced that changes to the status of the land, executive powers, and administrative jurisdictions in the West Bank would harm efforts to achieve peace and stability.

In this statement, the UK called on the Israeli regime to immediately reverse its decisions on the West Bank.

The UK government also emphasized that any unilateral action to change the geographical or demographic composition of Palestine is completely unacceptable.

It is worth noting that the Israeli security cabinet approved a series of new decisions on the West Bank on Monday, which include the repeal of a Jordanian law and the expansion of settlement construction.

According to reports, the Israeli cabinet has repealed a Jordanian law that banned the sale of land to Jews in the West Bank. The law dates back to the period of Jordanian rule over the West Bank before the occupation of the area in 1967.

The Israeli security cabinet also approved decisions to expand settlements in the West Bank.
