IRGC Missile and Drone Attack on the US Fifth Fleet Headquarters

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement announcing that the US Fifth Fleet headquarters was attacked by a missile and drone attack by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

️The text of this statement is as follows:

Late last night, the US aggressor army hit an Iranian oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz with an aerial projectile, which damaged the tanker in the engine room.

In response to this aggression and violation of the regulations of the Strait of Hormuz, a vessel belonging to the American Zionist enemy, the Panaya, was targeted by IRGC naval missiles.

In renewed aggression, the American enemy targeted an IRGC telecommunications tower south of Qeshm Island with its aerial projectiles. In response to this aggression, their air base and helicopters located in one of the countries in the region, as well as the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet, were attacked by missiles and drones from the IRGC Aerospace Force. ️

We had previously warned that in the event of aggression, there would be a different and heavier response, and we acted accordingly. These responses should have been a lesson. ️

We reiterate that disrupting the security of the Strait of Hormuz will have a heavy price for the aggressor, the US Army.
