Martyrdom of 85 medical personnel in Lebanon

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The humanitarian agency of the United Nations, referencing data from the World Health Organization, reported that there have been 36 assaults on healthcare facilities by Israeli forces since the conflict with Hezbollah intensified in September.

According to the agency, 85 healthcare professionals have been martyred, and 51 others have sustained injuries while performing their duties from September 17 to October 31.

The agency emphasized that medical first responders are still functioning in "extremely perilous conditions," highlighting that Israeli strikes resulted in the martyrdom of at least 6 responders in southern Lebanon on October 31.
