We will be the best helpers and supporters of Syria

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The media spokesman for the al-Nujaba Islamic Resistance stated in an interview with the American magazine "Newsweek" regarding the new developments in Syria: "Our position in the axis of resistance is always based on the strategy of unity of fronts and we stand united against any attack on the region." 

Dr. Hussein al-Moussawi, while emphasizing that "the Zionist regime, America and their accomplices are seeking to destabilize the region with various plans and false pretexts," noted: These terrorist groups, according to the White House, are made and paid for by America and organize their movements according to Washington's will. 

He continued: "The purpose of opening new fronts is to reduce pressure on Israel and cover up the defeat of this regime and its supporters, to distract the international community by creating additional tensions, and also to disrupt the focus of the axis of resistance." Therefore, we will not allow these groups to re-emerge or to jeopardize the security and stability of Iraq.

A senior member of the Nujaba said at the end of the interview with Newsweek: "We will be the best helper and supporter of the brotherly Syrian nation against these criminal gangs."
