We are concerned for Syria and support it

TEHRAN (Defapress)—According to Sputnik, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that Beijing is concerned about the situation in northwestern Syria and supports the Syrian authorities' efforts to ensure national stability. 

The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said at a press conference in Beijing: China is deeply concerned about the situation in northwestern Syria and supports efforts to ensure national security and stability.

He added: As a friend of Syria, China is willing to make active efforts to prevent the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic from deteriorating further.

In response to the question of whether the Chinese government is considering the evacuation of its citizens from Syria amid the escalation of the situation, the Chinese diplomat said: The Chinese Embassy in Syria has already issued a warning about this danger and is paying close attention to the situation on the battlefield.
