Egypt Thwart Trump's Plan for the Gaza Strip

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to RT Arabic, Egyptian sources announced that Cairo has completed its plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip without expelling its residents in response to Trump's brazen plan.

They added: The plan includes three stages, from the intervention of human resources to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip with the participation of the residents of the strip.

The plan is scheduled to be presented at an extraordinary meeting of Arab heads of state in Cairo on March 4.

According to the plan, areas will be created inside the Gaza Strip to temporarily settle Palestinians so that Egyptian and Arab companies can begin their work on rebuilding the strip.

An administrative committee will also be responsible for managing Gaza's affairs during a transitional phase for six months. The Palestinian Authority will also have full administration of the strip. Previously, the US president had claimed that residents of the Gaza Strip must leave the area to rebuild the strip.
