TEHRAN (Defapress) - The policies of the new Syrian government in recent weeks and months have been so discriminatory and inhumane that they have sparked widespread anger among the Alawite community, leading to protests that began last Thursday in the cities of Qardaha, Jableh, Latakia, Tartus, Homs, and Masyaf. However, elements affiliated with Jolani responded to these peaceful protests by directly firing at the demonstrators.

The clashes quickly spread to the coastal regions of Syria. In Latakia province and the towns of Al-Haffah, Al-Mukhtariyah, and Al-Shir, intense confrontations broke out between the security forces of the interim Syrian government and protesters, resulting in dozens of deaths.

Meanwhile, the developments and clashes in Syria have entered their fifth day, with Alawite-majority areas under severe siege, and many innocent people have been shot and executed by forces affiliated with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham. These scenes have continued to provoke public outrage.

According to the latest reports by the Syrian Human Rights Observatory, over a thousand Syrians have been killed by Jolani-affiliated elements so far. It has also been revealed that most of the victims are Alawites from regions such as Latakia, Tartus, and Jableh. Additionally, Syrian media reported that Jolani-affiliated elements, alongside killing Alawites, have been ransacking the homes of Syrian citizens.

In light of this, The New York Times reported yesterday on the recent developments and clashes in Syria, stating that Alawite-majority areas are under siege, and the streets are filled with the bodies of those executed by affiliated elements. The situation on the ground is so dire and critical that Syrian citizens are afraid to leave their homes.

On the other hand, some reports indicate that Turkmen, Chechen, and Syrian terrorists are involved in these attacks against Syrian citizens, particularly Alawites. Published videos also show threats by foreign terrorist elements against Alawites and Shia in Syria, often accompanied by beatings and, in many cases, torture and execution.

The Syrian Human Rights Observatory also announced that during the security operations of the Jolani regime in the Syrian coast, 1,018 people, including 745 civilians, have been killed so far. The organization had previously reported the killing of hundreds of Shia by Jolani’s so-called public security forces under the pretext of pursuing elements affiliated with the former regime.

All these recent events in Syria continue to intensify as Mohammad Otman, the governor of Latakia, announced that remnants of the former regime’s elements have been spotted in various areas, including Tartus and Latakia, with their numbers exceeding 4,000.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that the Jolani regime has dispatched a convoy of its elements from Idlib province to the coastal regions of Syria to suppress protests there. The security source emphasized that these elements are being sent to Latakia and Tartus provinces to support the terrorists stationed in these areas.

The massacre of Syrian citizens and Alawites continues with relentless brutality by Jolani’s terrorist elements, even as Abu Muhammad al-Jolani, the leader of the terrorists ruling Syria, stated in his speech today that what is happening in Syria falls within the framework of predictable challenges!

The leader of the terrorists ruling Syria shamelessly claimed that national unity and internal peace must be protected, urging Syrians to remain calm, as the country has the strength to survive.

Finally, it must be noted that the terrorist attacks and the killing of Alawites in Syria continue as RT Arabic reported that Lebanon’s northern borders have witnessed, over the past few days, a massive movement and gathering of thousands of Syrian citizens heading toward Lebanese territory, specifically the border region of Akkar. Now, we must wait and see where the course of events in Syria is headed, as the increasing violence and killings of Syrians are creating the conditions for a major uprising against the Jolani regime.
