Iran-US Indirect Talks Begin
The fourth round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States, mediated by Oman, began in Muscat.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - The fourth round of indirect Iran-US talks began in Oman; Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, are leading the Iranian and US delegations.
Before leaving for Muscat, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced in a speech that we had further consultations in Tehran this morning.
He said: "We hope to reach a decisive point in this round; unfortunately, we hear a lot of contradictory statements from the other side. On the contrary, the other side, the Islamic Republic of Iran, has well-known positions that are based on principles."
