TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Manar, Lebanese Hezbollah issued a statement strongly condemning the Israeli regime's attack on the Freedom Flotilla "Madelin" ship, which was carrying pro-Palestinian activists and humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza.
The Hezbollah statement reads: "Hezbollah strongly condemns the Zionist enemy's crime of maritime piracy and the seizure of the 'Madelin' ship in international waters, the arrest of international activists, and the prevention of humanitarian and relief aid from entering the besieged Gaza Strip, which is a clear violation of international laws, norms, and human values."
Hezbollah emphasized: "The Zionist enemy's action in seizing the 'MMadelin' ship and detaining its civilian occupants and the free activists who intended to show solidarity with Gaza demonstrates the moral and political bankruptcy of this temporary regime and its inability to break the will of the people of Gaza and their resistance."
Hezbollah concluded its statement by expressing full solidarity with the brave and free individuals aboard the "Madelin," calling on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to condemn the horrific crime of the Zionist regime in attacking the "Madelin" ship and to take immediate action to ensure the release of those abducted, hold the occupying regime accountable for its continuous aggressions, and compel it to permit the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and lift the blockade against it.
