TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspomdemt, Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, the deputy political officer of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, described the dimensions of True Promise 3 Operation as an unprecedented operation that the Zionist enemy and its supporters, especially at the height of diplomatic negotiations, did not expect and were completely surprised.
Javani continued: "The Zionist regime had carried out a terrorist act in the midst of diplomatic activities. With prior planning and based on their past experiences, they thought that with widespread attacks on Iranian military and missile centers, the defensive and offensive capacities of the Islamic Republic would be completely destroyed and Iran would not be able to carry out an operation on the scale of "True Promise 1 and 2."
The deputy political officer of the IRGC added: "Initially, Trump tried to separate the United States from the scene of the conflict; but after Netanyahu declared victory and success, and considered his operation a great task with great results, Trump was forced to join and put the United States on Israel's side." This change of position indicated their perception of the weakness of the Islamic Republic's defensive and offensive capabilities; an assumption that Iran would not be able to launch a large volume of missiles into the occupied territories.
He continued: After about 20 hours from the beginning of the enemy's invasion, "Vadeh Sadeq 3" was carried out in a situation where the Zionist enemy was at the peak of defensive readiness. Anticipating Iran's possible reaction, they activated all their defense systems and even had control over the airspace of their surrounding countries.
Brigadier General Javani added: "NATO's presence alongside the Zionist regime to defend its existence showed the high importance of this operation; however, the media clearly announced that in "Vadeh Sadeq 3" as well as "Vadeh Sadeq 2", a large volume of missiles were launched and more than 150 targets were successfully hit.
The IRGC’s political deputy pointed to the variety of missiles fired in True Promise 3 Operation and stated: “According to official reports, in addition to long-range and ballistic missiles, we witnessed the successful entry of drones such as “Arash” into the geography of the occupied territories.”
He stated: “In the future, more details about the variety of Iran’s projectiles and capabilities in this field will be announced by military experts. This variety of projectiles, which had not previously entered the geography of the occupied territories with these coordinates, left the enemy in awe and astonishment; to the extent that Israeli officials and Trump also described it as beyond expectations.”
Regarding the extent of the damage inflicted on the Zionists, Brigadier General Javani referred to the Zionist regime's usual policy of censoring news and information, saying: While in Iran, images and news related to martyrs and veterans are published, the Zionist regime is trying to hide the true extent of the damage, the extent of the destruction, and casualties by issuing statements from its army, intelligence, and security services, and even threatening citizens to prevent filming. However, due to the vast dimensions of the operation, they are forced to present reports to their public opinion.
The IRGC's political deputy noted: The images published in the media space, including the parts broadcast by IRIB and social media, indicate a strong and effective blow to the Zionist regime. This blow was inflicted using projectiles, missiles, and drones, and the damage inflicted was beyond the enemy's imagination.
