Need for Dialogue and Restraint to Prevent an Increase in Tensions Between Pakistan and Afghanistan

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Expressing concern about the developments of the past few days between Pakistan and Afghanistan, spokesperson for the Islamic Republic of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei, noted the need for mutual respect for the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of both countries and called for restraint and the immediate start of dialogue between the parties to reduce tensions and resolve differences through diplomacy.

The Foreign Ministry Spokesperson emphasized: The Islamic Republic of Iran attaches fundamental importance to maintaining peace and stability in the surrounding environment and is ready to provide any assistance to reduce tensions between the two neighboring and Muslim countries.
