Al-Sudani and Hakim Emphasis on Preserving the Unity of the Shiite Coordination Framework

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Iraqi sources, Ammar al-Hakim, the leader of the National Wisdom Movement in Iraq, announced in a statement that he had met with Prime Minister of Iraq, Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, and discussed political developments in Iraq.

According to this statement, the meeting emphasized the need to finalize the positions of the presidency and prime ministership within the legal timeframe.

Hakim added: During the meeting with the Sudani, the importance of maintaining cohesion and unity within the framework of Shiite coordination was emphasized, as well as the need to find strategic solutions to economic challenges.

The leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement earlier stated in a speech that respecting the election results and expediting the formation of a government is a national necessity. He said, "Iraq can overcome the geopolitical earthquake in the region with internal unity."
