Return of Control of the Strait of Hormuz to Its Previous State Following US Piracy

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Colonel Ibrahim Zoulfaghari, Spokesperson of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), stated in a speech: Following previous agreements in negotiations held in good faith, the Islamic Republic of Iran agreed to the passage of a limited number of oil tankers and commercial ships through the Strait of Hormuz in a managed manner; but unfortunately, the Americans, with their repeated breaches of their promises, continue to engage in piracy and piracy under the so-called "blockade". For this reason, control of the Strait of Hormuz has returned to its previous state, and this strategic strait is under the strict management and control of the armed forces.

The Spokesperson of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) emphasized: "As long as the United States does not end the complete freedom of movement of vessels from Iran to its destination and from its destination to its origin, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain strictly controlled and in its previous state."
