Ammar Hakim's Positions in Meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Sayyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, in a meeting with Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, the Iraqi Prime Minister, stressed the need to adhere to legal deadlines and the importance of forming a new government with the presence of competent ministers who can manage government institutions at this critical stage in Iraq's history.

While emphasizing the need to consider priorities, the leader of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement noted that the priority of the current stage is to confront the economic crisis and financial hardship.

He called for the start of diversifying Iraq's oil export routes, in addition to diversifying income sources by activating production sectors, including industry, agriculture, tourism, investment, and new technology, and getting rid of administrative bureaucracy that hinders the progress of these sectors.

Al-Hakim called for smoothing the atmosphere with countries in the region and the world by establishing relations and partnerships in various fields to serve the interests of all and preserve the country's sovereignty. He emphasized the importance of Iraq welcoming everyone and taking advantage of international and regional support in forming a service-oriented government that will realize the aspirations of the Iraqi nation. He also spoke about the importance of the government's coherence with the legislative and judicial branches, in addition to supporting local governments (governorships) and granting them legal powers and empowering them to provide services to the people.
