In recent days, personnel from the Army and the IRGC have reported several other instances involving offending oil tankers that caught fire while attempting to traverse prohibited zones, despite having ignored warnings to keep their electronic equipment activated.

We maintain full control and intelligence oversight over the eastern Strait of Hormuz, the Arabian Sea, and the Sea of Oman, and we are well aware of the risks of navigating prohibited areas.

Contrary to the propaganda and fear-mongering spread by the criminal President of the United States, the Strait of Hormuz is not "open" [for unrestricted passage]. Nations must not be deceived by these lies; to ensure safe transit, they must coordinate with the Iranian Armed Forces.
