TEHRAN (defapress) - This morning, Israeli colonists placed a mobile home on Palestinian-owned land in Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, according to local sources.
The Arabic media reported that armed colonists positioned the mobile home in the Saddet Tha'ala area of Masafer Yatta, with intentions to seize the land.
This action is purportedly in favor of establishing a farm for the colonists and expanding the Tzohar Man settlement outpost, established on Palestinian land since 2020.
Colonists have intensified their encroachments in the area, aiming to forcibly displace residents and assert control. They have bulldozed extensive areas of Palestinian land, planted trees, and conducted infrastructure work.
Israeli authorities are pursuing a colonization plan aimed at constructing a 12-kilometer colonial road to connect the Avigal and Ma'on settlements. This plan would entail taking control of over 13,000 dunums of Palestinian land in the area.
