Revenge for the Blood of the Martyred Leader of the Revolution and the People Is Certain
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Esmail Kowsari, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, in an interview with the Defapress correspondent, while honoring the memory of the martyr Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the commanders, scientists, students and all the martyrs of the second and Third Imposed War, stated: The issue of revenge against criminals has its roots in Quranic teachings and is recognized as a legitimate right in the form of the principle of retribution. In other words, based on religious teachings and also accepted legal rules, any individual or movement that commits murder, crime, and creates terror among the people must be held accountable for their actions and be punished for their actions. Therefore, revenge is, in fact, the implementation of justice against criminals.

Referring to the responsibility of international institutions in dealing with the perpetrators of crimes and assassinations, he stated: "First and foremost, it is the responsibility of legal systems and international organizations to try and punish the perpetrators of crimes, but if these institutions cannot or do not want to deal with the criminals, the nations and those who are loyal to the martyrs will take action themselves to achieve justice; so we can ask the question: what role have these organizations played in the assassination of leaders and prominent figures?"
A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Parliament criticized the performance of international organizations, including the United Nations and human rights organizations, saying: "While some crimes are committed openly and even the perpetrators are proud of their actions, we are witnessing the silence or inaction of institutions that were formed to defend the rights of nations." International organizations that should defend the rights of countries and nations, in practice, are observed to be powers that rely on force and bullying, not only committing criminal acts but also facing no serious obstacles.
Emphasizing that if such behaviors are not stopped, the process of crime and lawlessness will continue, Kowsari noted: Therefore, the issue of revenge and punishment of the perpetrators of the crime is not only a natural and understandable matter, but also a necessity to establish justice and prevent the repetition of these actions, meaning that the principle of punishing the crime of martyring the Leader of the Revolution and the people is certain, and only the method and channel of its implementation can be different; whether through international mechanisms or by those who consider themselves obligated to pursue the rights of the martyrs.
