Hostile Media Are in Our Military Target Bank

TEHRAN (Defapress) - At the unveiling ceremony of the foreign langauge versions of the Defapress in English, Arabic, Russian, Urdu, French and Turkish, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the Senior Spokesman for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, considered the launch of these pages a valuable step and, referring to the combination of hard and soft war arenas in the current situation, stated in his speech: An important part of hybrid war is media war and cognitive war; in such a way that success or failure in this arena directly affects the hard war arena.

Stating that today we are facing a global arrogant media empire, Brigadier General Shekarchi clarified: All new tools and complex media technologies are at the disposal of the enemies, and extensive material investment has also been made in this area; But because the Islamic Revolution media is under the umbrella of divine providence, this media will prevail over the enemy.

The Senior Spokesman for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, pointing out that the center of the enemy’s media empire is in the hands of the Zionists, said: Media outlets such as the BBC, Iran International, and Radio Farda are directly connected to the Mossad, the CIA, and the enemy’s intelligence organizations and receive their lines of work and support.

Emphasizing that the Armed Forces do not look at these news outlets as media outlets, he noted: People who work in these media outlets are considered soldiers of Zionism and criminal America, and they can even be targeted as military targets, because, in our opinion, these are not media outlets.

Criticizing the role of these news outlets in promoting violence in the world, Brigadier General Shekarchi said: "Every bloodshed and violence in the world is carried out with the support of these pseudo-media; while the media should be a security provider and its first priority should be the psychological security of the people and human society."

The Senior Spokesman for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran continued: "These pseudo-media not only do not seek the psychological security of human society, but they are the source of promoting, propagating and spreading violence in the world and have disturbed the psyche of humanity."

In conclusion, he emphasized the need to communicate with the world's public opinion and stated: "We cannot engage in a media war with an enemy whose goals are evil and inhumane using only Persian; this enemy is incompatible with any logic or rationality; therefore, we must communicate with all the people of the world in different fields and arenas and expose the criminals."
