Offensive Approach Is a Strategic Necessity Against Extraterritorial Threats

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Reza Talaeinik, Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support, in an interview with Defapress correspondent, stated about the change in the defense doctrine of the Iranian Armed Forces to an offensive approach: "Given the depth of the threats and the type of enemy weapons, defense is not necessarily possible within the territorial borders; therefore, at times and in some operations, it is necessary to use offensive and offensive weapons based on national defense."

Brigadier General Talaeinik added: This strategy has been implemented in the past on a case-by-case basis and has been able to control the aggression and crimes of the American and Zionist enemy.

The Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Support stated: In the order given to the new commanders of the Armed Forces, the strategy of using weapons appropriate to the type of threats has been emphasized, and if the source of the threat is extraterritorial, the use of these weapons will certainly increase with the help of the country's defense industry.
