We Will Respond to Any Level of Threats in a Timely and Effective Manner

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and Commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), issued a message congratulating Brigadier General Alireza Elhami, Commander of the Army Air Defense Force and the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Joint Air Defense Base, on the anniversary of the establishment of the Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Base and Air Defense Day.

September 1st is a reminder of epic-makers who, with their lofty celestial vision and high resolve, turned the boundless air borders of our beloved homeland into a stronghold of security and dignity. This great day, adorned with the name "Air Defense," is the manifestation of the zeal, knowledge, and endurance of brave men who, under the shadow of trust in Almighty God and under the supreme authority of the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, are the guardians of the realm of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

While offering my sincere congratulations on this pride-inspiring day to Your Excellency and all the brave, and specialized Air Defense Force, I emphasize that the key expectations contained in the appointment decree of Your Excellency by the martyr Leader are a bright guiding light for the transformation and excellence of this strategic force, especially under the current critical conditions of the country where dear Iran finds itself in the atmosphere of the Third American-Zionist Imposed War. 

Undoubtedly, the country's defensive capabilities in the air arena are indebted to the precise implementation of those very directives, as well as the expectations of his righteous successor, the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Eminence Ayatollah Imam Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, focusing on offensive defense strategies, integrated, active, dynamic, and preemptive networking of defense, as well as connecting all identification, radar, and missile layers in the form of a smart and resilient network to intercept and neutralize any potential threat at the farthest points, indigenization and smartification of systems through the development of new technologies, and the deployment of systems specific to electronic and cyber warfare.

For sure, reliance on internal capability and elite youth to upgrade the electronic and cyber combat capability of defense to continue active deterrence against the growing threats of enemies, as well as upgrading combat readiness and training human resources at the level of the Islamic Revolution through precise planning and nurturing insightful, striving commanders and personnel familiar with modern defense techniques, and ultimately synergy with other Armed Forces in line with the macro strategy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces regarding a timely, revolutionary, and effective response to any level and type of conventional and modern military, cognitive, and hybrid threats against the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, takes place in coordination and synergy with the Khatam-al Anbiya Air Defense Bases.

Honoring the memory and name of the high-ranking martyrs of the air defense, I pray to Almighty God for the increasing success of Your Excellency and all the brave personnel of that force in this strategic path under the shadow of Imam Mahdi and the wise directives of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
