Iran's Response to the Enemy's New Threats Is Devastating

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, issued a message on August 21, congratulating General Seyed Majid Ibn al-Reza, Acting Minister of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces, and all officials, specialists, and employees of this ministry on Defense Industry Day.

August 21, Defense Industry Day, is a manifestation of the glory of the indigenous power and a deterrent to the oppressive sanctions and the alignment of the child-killing arrogance. This day commemorates the tireless efforts of the hard workers, experts, and faithful employees of the Ministry of Defense, especially the high-ranking martyrs who, relying on faith and knowledge, have brought the country's defense deterrence to its peak.

The defense industry, as an irreplaceable pillar of "national power," plays a pivotal role in consolidating the security and dignity of Islamic Iran. What has taken place in this ministry in recent years goes beyond the production of military equipment and is a "defense deterrent industrial revolution"; a strategic transformation that encompasses design, technology management, defense economics, a knowledge-based chain, and a smart production model that guarantees success in the field, and is considered an intelligent response to the complexities of today's and future wars.

Undoubtedly, this glorious growth is due to the creation of the belief and will for self-reliance by the great architect of the Revolution, Imam Khomeini, and the wise guidance of the martyred Leader of the Revolution, who, by drawing the horizons of deterrent power and emphasizing scientific self-sufficiency, paved the way for the emergence of enormous defensive and offensive capacities in the country's military sphere. Today, its fruits have clearly created honor in regional and trans-regional arenas and in the field of the second and third sacred defense against the imposed American-Zionist war.

By honoring the memory, names, and struggles of the martyrs of the country's defense industry, especially the distinguished martyrs Nasirzadeh, Fakhrizadeh, and Namjoo, I emphasize: The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with their comprehensive, intelligent, and up-to-date readiness in all areas of land, sea, air, defense, space, and cyber, will confront any miscalculation and conventional and new threats of the enemies with revolutionary, crushing, regretful, and devastating responses.

I congratulate Your Excellency and all the officials, specialists, and zealous employees of the Ministry of Defense on the arrival of this auspicious day, and I pray to God Almighty for everyone's increasing success under the grace of our Lord, the Imam Mahdi, and the guidance of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Mujtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
