TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, Deputy for Cultural Affairs and Soft Warfare of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and Senior Spokesman for the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, provided a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the dimensions, objectives, and consequences of the "Second and Third Imposed Wars" (the Ramadan War).

At the outset, he praised the pivotal role of media professionals, journalists, and media executives who stood by the Armed Forces in soft warfare, explanation, and news dissemination, emphasizing journalists' vital duty in current sensitive conditions.

The Senior Spokesman recalled that although the sworn enemies, led by the US and assisted by the Zionist regime, imposed the harshest conditions on Iran in 2025 and 2026, the Iranian nation has resisted all plots over the past 47 years.

He noted that as the enmity increased, the internal front grew stronger while the enemies grew weaker, trapping themselves in a quagmire of their own making.

The Deputy for Cultural Affairs listed the six strategic goals of the US-Zionist coalition: destroying regional Resistance groups, destroying nuclear facilities, eliminating missile and drone capabilities, seizing control over energy sources and geopolitics, overthrowing the Islamic Republic system, and ultimately partitioning Iran.

He said the enemy failed completely to achieve these goals, with Resistance groups emerging stronger than before. While acknowledging limited operational and tactical damages, he stressed that field realities show enemy losses were far heavier and that Iran's missile and drone capabilities are stronger today than at the start of the war.

He highlighted that during the 12-day war in June of last year, the enemies were defeated on the battlefield and resorted to pleading and seeking regional mediation to stop the conflict.

Regarding casualties and financial losses, Brigadier General Shekarchi exposed the news censorship policies of Washington and Tel Aviv, asserting that evidence confirms the US military suffered hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries, while the Zionist regime sustained over 1,000 deaths and thousands of wounded.

Mocking US claims of fewer than 40 casualties or minor injuries, he compared their cover-up to previous reports from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, noting that the destruction of US military bases disproves their narrative.

Detailing the inefficiency of ultra-modern Western weaponry, he cited smart asymmetric tactics where the US military fired four interceptor missiles worth 40 million dollars to target a single 40-thousand-dollar Iranian drone. Despite these expenditures, Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, which were developed through the efforts of martyred scientists and commanders such as Tehrani-Moghaddam, Bagheri, Salami, and Hajizadeh, crossed defense layers and struck intended targets across US bases and occupied territories.

Brigadier General Shekarchi identified Iran's core components of power as unshakeable faith, wise leadership before and after the Third Imposed War during the tenure of Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, national support, and the readiness of the Armed Forces.

He emphasized that Iran has not yet deployed all its defensive capabilities and has reserved portions for the future. Calling the US President's rhetoric regarding the Strait of Hormuz a childish fantasy, dream, and psychological warfare to offset battlefield failures, he pointed to severe depression, low morale, and multiple suicides among US troops serving under duress.

Finally, the Senior Spokesman stated that exposing the Hollywood-style propaganda facade of the US and Zionist militaries was a major achievement of this war.

He added that this defeat degraded America's superpower status, squandered billions invested in military bases in countries such as Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, and the UAE, and eroded regional allies' trust in US protection.

Pointing to a widening rift between the American public and their leaders over sacrificing national resources for the Zionist regime, as well as the desperation of occupiers forced into shelters, he concluded that the only solution for regional security is relying on the language of force and the complete withdrawal of US troops from West Asia, reaffirming that revenge for innocent martyrs, including the schoolchildren of Minab and Lar will inevitably be exacted.
