Ghalibaf's Response to the Claims of the US Treasury Secretary

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In response to the outrageous claims of Scott Bessant, the US Treasury Secretary, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, republished an article by Paul Krugman, the Nobel laureate in economics, in which the economist described Bessant's lying and his absolute failure in managing the markets, and cited the out-of-control US government bond market as evidence of the absolute failure of Bessant's lying policy.

Ghalibaf continued by mocking Bessant's claim that 130 million barrels of oil had passed through Hormuz in two weeks, and told him: For real 130s, tell your staffer to pull Moody's showing $130+ billion in war costs, and ask another how much Jane Street burned north of $130 million shorting oil for you in just one futures roll.
