Iran Will Increase Its Defense Capability Day by Day
TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ibn al-Reza, Acting Minister of Defense, issued a message in commemoration of the wise directives of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
The text of the message is as follows:
Supreme Commander-in-Chief;
Your Excellency's wise message during Government Week was, for us soldiers of the nation's defensive front, a command to build an ever-stronger Iran. Your children in the Ministry of Defense are carrying out this command from a bastion whose mission is clear: building power for Iran, safeguarding the security of the nation, and constructing a defensive capability that deters the enemy from any miscalculation or ambition toward this land.
Recent Imposed Wars have shown us that a strong Iran is an Iran that is always prepared—an Iran that must constantly enhance its capabilities and remain ready for the threats of today and tomorrow. In this field, we have learned that we must not rest on our current assets; rather, we must pursue power enhancement continuously and without pause.
Our Commander and Leader; on this vital path, our greatest assets are the Iranian youth and the Iranian elite, the same young men who, during the harshest years of sanctions, mastered the technology of production; the same experts who, on the battlefield, transformed their knowledge into defensive power. Trusting this invaluable generation- faithful, learned, and nurtured by the Islamic Revolution and the school of Imam Khomeini and the martyred Leader, Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei is not a choice; it is a necessity for building the future of a strong Iran. Alongside all this, what has manifested itself on the field more than ever is the sacred unity of the Iranian nation. The people, the nation, and the Armed Forces, under the blessed shade of the Guardianship, have stood together and demonstrated that if the enemy targets Iran, it will face a united nation. This cohesion is itself the most important part of our defensive power.
Our Commander and Leader; we, your soldiers at the Ministry of Defense, consider ourselves the direct addressees of this command and regard it as a formal mission order. Iran must grow stronger every day. In the presence of Almighty God, and through supplication to the Holy Prophet and Ahl-Al-Bayt, and seeking the aid of Imam Mahdi, we pledge that as long as this mission rests upon our shoulders, we will not abandon our post. We will not cease building Iran's defensive power, and we will spare no effort or sacrifice in realizing a strong Iran.
