Enemy’s Economic Pressure and Cognitive Warfare Are Facing Defeat

TEHRAN (Defapress) - At a specialized meeting of the psychological operations specialists in Iran, Major General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces and Commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), referring to the complex dimensions of the all-round conspiracies of the hegemony system against Iran, stated: Narrating war and getting ahead of hard war is a great art, and today the enemy is engaged in a full-scale combined, soft and cognitive war against the nation and country of Iran.

Explaining the roots of arrogance and the enemies’ miscalculations, Major General Abdollahi added: A nation that relies on God Almighty is always victorious in the field. The Americans have not heard a negative answer from any country for more than 80 years, and their expectation and misconception before the invasion of Iran was the surrender of this great nation; a false dream that will never come true.

Referring to the strategy of the American and Zionist enemies in compensating for regional and military defeats in the war with Iran and the Resistance Front, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces said: The Zionist and American enemies are trying to compensate for their strategic gaps and defeats with soft, cognitive warfare and economic pressure; but by God's grace and with the courage of the people and the prudence of the country's officials, they will definitely not succeed in this area and will add another defeat to their humiliating record in the military war against Iran.

Emphasizing the necessity of national unity and the use of all possibilities in this serious campaign, he stated: In the face of soft and cognitive warfare, all national and transnational capacities must be used against the enemy. In these critical circumstances, each commander and officer of soft and cognitive warfare has a heavy responsibility that they must fulfill.

Referring to the central importance of the media and narrative field, Major General Abdollahi noted: An important part of this battle is the war of narratives, which must be addressed purposefully and intelligently. The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have been able to confront the American and Zionist aggressors asymmetrically in confronting threats and have taken the initiative.

Referring to the role model of the Islamic Revolution in the region and the world, the Commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) said: The Islamic Republic of Iran has presented a new model of resistance to the world due to its firm belief in divine and national values. By God’s grace, the world of the future will be different from the world of the past; a difference that will benefit the Iranian nation and will be accompanied by the definitive decline of American power.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces also praised the silent and intelligent efforts of the media and soft war front, appreciating their tireless efforts in explaining the realities and confronting the enemy's combined and cognitive aggression. Major General Abdollahi emphasized that these efforts are a sacred form of fighting and are in line with defending the country's national security, and called on all those involved in this field to take steps with greater strength and authority, relying on insight and weapons, faith, speech, and pen, on the path of protecting the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and promoting hope in society.
