Iran Stands Against Superpowers

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Jafar Zahedi, Commander of the Iranian Army Air Defense University, in an interview with the Defapress correspondent, announced the design and construction of a new defense system. Referring to the 2008 strategic decree of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution on the separation of the air defense from the air force, he stated that the main mission of this fourth-generation university is “producing science, educating scholars, and guiding scientific fields,” and emphasized that the main goal is to become one of the defense science poles in the region and the world. In this regard, the university, by recognizing the edges of knowledge and extensive interaction with industrial universities and knowledge-based companies, is trying to meet the real and operational needs of the force by relying on student theses.

The Commander of the Iranian Army Air Defense University, emphasizing the need for self-sufficiency to neutralize reverse engineering and monitoring of technical details of systems by the enemy, announced that the idea and process of producing a new defense system, similar to the "Bavar 373" system, has been initiated at this university and the army's air defense force complex. He considered the university's educational approach to be based on modern technologies and the use of advanced simulators that allow graduates to enter the operational field immediately after graduation. Brigadier General Zahedi also pointed to utilizing the experiences of the warriors of the Sacred Defense era and said that our goal is to train analytical and decision-making officers who, in addition to technical expertise, have the necessary spiritual preparation.

In another part of his speech, Brigadier General Zahedi referred to the dimensions of the enemy's cognitive and media warfare and added that the enemy seeks to weaken the country's hard power by preparing the minds of society, but defense personnel have thwarted these conspiracies by constantly updating science and equipment. He considered Iran's 47-year resistance to superpowers a sign of the country's military authority. Finally, referring to the annual recruitment and recruitment process, he noted that after the events of the Ramadan War, the acceptance of enthusiastic young people to enter the Army Air Defense University has grown significantly, and this generation is ready to defend the borders of the honor and dignity of Islamic Iran.
