Baby of war, born healthy
TEHRAN (defapress) - Al Awda Hospital in Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip said today that doctors succeeded in saving a fetus from the womb of his slain mother.
Medical sources added that the hospital's ambulance and emergency department received the martyred mother, who was nine months pregnant, in the early hours of dawn today, after the occupation warplanes targeted her home. She was immediately transferred to the operations department, where doctors began a cesarean birth and managed to save the life of the baby.
The baby was placed in an incubator at the said Hospital and is reported in stable condition.
It is noteworthy that Al Awda Hospital in Nuseirat is the only hospital that provides obstetrics and gynecology services in the center of the Strip.
