Saudi Ship Carrying Weapons for Tel Aviv was Blocked at the Italian Coast

TEHRAN (Defrapress) - According to Al-Masirah, employees of the port of Genoa in Italy prevented the passage of the Saudi ship "Bahri Yanbu" carrying military weapons for the Israeli regime.

The Saudi ship had left for the region from the United States with military equipment when the Genoa port employees realized that the equipment was being transported to the Israeli regime.

The report continues by stating that about 40 employees of the Genoa port went on board the Saudi ship and blocked it.

The port officials pledged to establish a permanent monitoring mechanism to investigate arms smuggling after this incident.

The port employees emphasized that they do not work for war, and in 2019, they did the same thing about another shipment of weapons from Saudi Arabia. The Head of the Independent Italian Port Workers' union stated that cooperation with such ships makes the workers complicit in war crimes and genocide in Gaza.
