TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to the media office of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement, Sayyed Ammar al-Hakim, hosted Mohammad Kazem Al Sadegh, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Iraq, this Sunday morning.
In his meeting with Al Sadegh, Hakim discussed the political situation in the region and the escalation of dangerous tension in Gaza and Lebanon and emphasized the importance of collective efforts to stop this war, which the Zionist regime is seeking to expand its scope.
During their discussions, Hakim called for a united effort to cease the war, which he claims is being intensified by the Israeli regime. He stressed the urgent requirement to provide assistance to displaced populations and to improve humanitarian efforts in the impacted regions.
Hakim proposed the convening of meetings among the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League, and other global organizations to advocate for an immediate end to hostilities. He highlighted the necessity of enforcing international laws and resolutions related to Israel's occupation.
"The time has arrived for a collective response from Muslim nations to these aggressions," Hakim declared, emphasizing that solidarity could lead to effective action and support for those suffering under occupation.
His comments reflect an increasing sentiment among leaders in the region who are calling for a unified approach to tackle the ongoing conflicts and injustices faced by Palestinians.
