Repeated Enemy Aggression Will Be Met with a Strong Response

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a telephone conversation with Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Major General Amir Seyed Abdolrahim  Mousavi stated: The invasion of the Zionist regime and the United States on Iranian territory took place despite Iran’s restraint and while indirect negotiations with the United States were underway.

Major General Mousavi continued: These 2 regimes have shown that they do not adhere to any international rules and norms, and this was proven to the world in the imposed 12-day war.

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, recalling that we did not initiate the war, but responded to the aggressor with all our might, emphasized: Since we have complete doubts about the enemy's adherence to its commitments, including the ceasefire, we are ready to give him a strong response if the aggression is repeated.

The Saudi Minister of Defense also stated in this telephone conversation: Saudi Arabia did not stop at condemning the aggressions and has made great efforts to end the war and aggression.

Khalid bin Salman also expressed condolences for the martyrdom of a number of commanders of the Islamic Republic's armed forces during the recent war.
