TEHRAN (Defapress) - Dr. Marwan Sultan, the director of the Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahiya, has expressed his grave concerns regarding the potential increase in patient fatalities as a result of Israeli military actions targeting the hospital.
“The Israeli occupation forces are obstructing the delivery of fuel and medical supplies to the Indonesian Hospital and are also cutting off electricity for both staff and patients,” he stated in an interview with Al Jazeera. “The siege on the hospital continues, and there is a real risk that numerous patients may perish.”
He further noted that medical personnel are unable to assist injured Palestinians.
“There are many casualties in the streets, yet no one can provide aid due to the blockade affecting hospitals in the northern region.”
