TEHRAN (Defapress) - UNRWA stressed that the situation in the Gaza Strip is worsening every moment as the rain continues and the Israeli army attacks and bombardments continue.
UNRWA continued that half a million people live in areas that are prone to flooding and face great risks.
Previously, Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for the Civil Defense Authority in the Gaza Strip, stated that 10,000 tents of Palestinian refugees have been damaged due to heavy rain in the Strip.
He added: "Most of the tents of Palestinian refugees are no longer usable."
With the arrival of the cold season and the approach of winter, the situation of Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip has once again deteriorated, as the lack of rain-resistant tents and heating equipment, as well as the shortage of food and hygiene products, has exacerbated the pain and suffering of the refugees in the Strip.
