Iraq's response to the Zionist regime's aggression against Syrian territory

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying: "We strongly condemn the decision of the Zionist regime's cabinet to expand settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights." 

The statement continued: "Iraq emphasizes its steadfast position in supporting Syria's rights to regain its full sovereignty over various regions of the country." 

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry added: "The Golan Heights are part of the occupied Syrian territory, and any action to change its demographic situation is rejected." 

Iraq called on the international community to take a strong stance against the Zionist regime's aggression and to support Syria's sovereignty. 

Recently, the Zionist regime, in addition to advancing on Syrian territory and invading this country, has announced its plan to expand settlements in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
