October 7th Is a Sacred Day

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Khaled al-Qaddoumi, the representative of the Hamas movement in Iran, stated at 8th International Conference of Solidarity with Palestinian Children and Adolescents (Muhammad al-Durrah Memorial): "Today, after 2 years of fighting and struggle, and after the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, which is considered a historical stage in the struggle against the Zionist regime, this regime has become the world's number one enemy, and everyone has understood that Israel is the main source of insecurity."

Al-Qaddoumi added: "Muslims around the world today are proud because of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation. After 77 years of the Zionist regime's crimes, we witnessed an operation carried out against their long-standing oppression."

The representative of the Hamas movement in Iran continued: "On October 7th, the UK, Germany, and France started a joint war against Palestine, but with this operation, the project of the Westerners collapsed. In fact, we must say that October 7th is a sacred day."

He noted: "The people of Gaza are proud of October 7th. We have offered 70,000 martyrs today, 20,000 of whom were children."

Al-Qaddoumi added: "It was the Western world that published the picture of Muhammad al-Durrah, but it did not see what happened in Gaza today. Today we witnessed that in Gaza, the enemy's nose was ground into the dirt."

The representative of the Hamas movement in Iran stated: "I hope God grants success to you, who have come from more than 33 countries, to be on this path in defense of humanity. Because this war continues, just as the pain and suffering of the people of Gaza continue."

He emphasized: "Palestine is not merely a geography; it is a global idea. Hamas remains alive as long as children raise the flag of freedom and fighters hold weapons in their hands."

Al-Qaddoumi added: "I thank the activists and volunteers present in the Sumud Flotilla. I also thank Iran, and you must continue your efforts even more."

The representative of the Hamas movement in Iran continued: "After Netanyahu's isolation, Trump presented a peace plan, and we saw that the countries supporting this regime stopped sending weapons to Israel."

He noted: "We, the Palestinian people, have lost our faith in these international organizations. Trump came to save the criminal Netanyahu. Hamas said security is in our hands, we will not lay down our weapons, and it announced its red lines. These lines include Israel's withdrawal and sending aid to the people of Gaza."
